How to use welders safely
1. To avoid major personal accidents, please note the following: Welding equipment is designed and manufactured with due consideration. Please pay attention to the precautions in this manual when operating. Otherwise, serious personnel problems such as death or serious injury may occur. For the construction of the power source on the input side, the siting of the equipment, the storage of work after welding and the disposal of waste, do not use pacemakers, etc., if the personnel concerned have not entered the welding site. Do not approach the site where the welding machine is used or the welding site. The magnetic field generated when the welding machine is energized can adversely affect the operation of the magnetic field pacemaker. Have the welder installed, serviced and maintained by qualified personnel or in-house personnel.
2. To avoid electric shock, observe the following. Touching energized parts may result in fatal electric shock or burns. Do not touch energized parts. Ground the welder and parent material as specified. During installation and maintenance, turn off the power at the distribution box before operation. Do not use cables with insufficient capacity and exposed insulated sheathed conductors. Ensure that cables are connected. Do not use a welder when removing the enclosure. Use dry insulated gloves. Use a net when working in high places. Maintain and service regularly and repair damaged parts before use. Turn off all input power when not in use. Use electric shock protection when using the AC arc welder in confined spaces or above.
